Our Mindful Practice Yoga Course Live Teaching Support theme for September and October is based around the benefits of a mindful yoga practice. This links with a recent blog I wrote ‘How Mindfulness can help you to..’

I will be teaching a new live round of classes starting on the 10th of September for 6 weeks based on Yoga and Mindfulness Online Yoga Course. Each week I’ll introduce the class via my Facebook Page. Join and ‘Like’ my Facebook Page via here.

  • Our entire course library of over 60 online yoga lessons
  • Weekly Facebook Live video to introduce you to, or deepen your understanding of, what a mindful yoga practice is
  • Learn how you can use the concepts of mindful practice to bring more balance, clarity, fulfilment and connection with others into your daily life.
  • Learn about about a different aspect of developing Mindfulness through your Yoga practice and then you’ll have access to a class to practice this throughout the week.
  • I will be there to answer your questions and help you take your yoga practice to a new level via our Facebook group.

Week 1

This lesson is designed to take start to connect you on a deeper level to your whole body and begin to bring your mind & body awareness back to the present moment. The key principles of this class are core stability and alignment.

Week 2

This lesson a restorative class. Restorative Yoga nourishes you and helps you restore your energy and vitality for life. This is a great class for when you need to slooooooow down. The key principles of this class are connecting your movement with your breath and bringing an awareness into how you are holding your body.

Week 3

This lesson is designed to help you gain a deeper awareness of your spine and your movement abilities. The key principle in this lesson is creating both strength and flexibility in your spine.

Week 4

This lesson is designed to explore lengthening through your body in postures and how to create more clarity in your mind as we lengthen.  We focus on the Dog posture in this class. This posture replenishes physical vitality and as an inversion refreshes the circulation to your eyes and brain.

Week 5

This lesson is a shorter lesson to bring strength and flexibility into your thighs and the trunk of your body.  Yoga is a wonderful tool to help release emotions we hold in our body which can lead to anxiety and stress. The key principle in this lesson is to use Yoga to release tension and emotions from your body therefore reducing anxiety and stress.

Week 6

This lesson has been designed as a quick fix to bring you back into feeling strong and connected. The key principle here is building strength and stamina in body and mind. this helps us to build resilience and cope with everyday life from a calmer and balanced perspective.

“Just wanted to say thanks debs for your online yoga membership. Debs online yoga membership is just what I need. I can choose from classes from 20 mins to an hour with different themes. I like having the flexibility to do yoga when it suits me, as I run and do other exercises I find that if I don’t do a yoga class at least once a week my body feels stiff. I like Debs’ classes as they are gentle and easy to follow.

I have benefited myself this evening as I have been really busy most of the day and I find that the time I spend in the evening doing yoga helps me wind down and switch off.
