Private Yoga lessons: are they for you? 8 reasons why they might be.

Private Yoga sessions or our Wellbeing Coaching sessions are the perfect way to fast track you to a totally different experience after only a few sessions and here’s why.

Have a bespoke yoga/wellbeing plan designed specifically for you. If you have a particular goal you are working towards, you are looking to deepen your current yoga practice or make some bigger changes in your life which requires personalised guidance, or you may have an injury that needs some personalised teaching and a specific yoga programme to help you, then you will benefit from a private yoga or wellbeing coaching session. I can put a structured Yoga or wellbeing plan together for you to ensure you get exactly what you want from your sessions.

Going deeper into your own practices. In a one-to-one lesson you can explore deeper practices such as meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises) creative visualisation, other powerful techniques so you can really begin to understand how you can generate more of the peaceful and balanced state you get from holistic practices, by integrating practices which you love and resonate with, into your life. Of course, this can have a major impact on your relationships, work life and general health in a very positive way.

Bring yourself away from just your intellect (head) into your heart. Balancing your head and heart is one of the most profound and yet simplest of disciplines. Often we spend most of our time in our head which is not always the best place for us to deeply nourish and nurture our deepest needs. Our sessions will enable you to move your awareness into your heart and begin to access a deeper wisdom and inner peace. When you begin to access this space you can begin to truly create your life in a way that fulfils your deepest dreams and desires in a tangible and coherent way.

M.O.T for alignment and positioning. Our posture often reflects more than just our physical body. A good teacher will let you know about adjustments to your posture in a class but in a personal session, you can delve much deeper into why you are positioned that way, and look at how your body may be compensating in some way if it is out of alignment elsewhere. You can learn how it feels to be in perfect alignment and translate this into your yoga class or the way you hold yourself on a daily basis.

You are new to Yoga and don’t feel ready to start a class. Sometimes students want to get to grips with what is in a Yoga Class before they are happy to go and move in front of other people. Often people will have an injury which needs a bit more detail so they feel safe to attend a class knowing they are getting the benefits they need. Private lessons are a great way to do this. I would recommend 3-6 sessions to get you started and then join us a lovely Yoga community in your local area.

Upgrade your skills for your practice in class.  In just a couple of private lessons, you can ask all the questions you need and receive the little adjustments which make all the difference to your posture and practice. This can have a profound impact on how you experience your regular class and make it a much deeper and beneficial experience.

You already attend a class and would like to book some Wellbeing Coaching Sessions. Often students are looking to make changes in other areas of their lives. It may be they are struggling to cope in the work environment, or how they can manage their stress levels or look at being more creative in their lives to create these changes. Wellbeing coaching sessions which incorporate all aspects of our holistic being can be a wonderful way of making changes which are long lasting and truly beneficial in your everyday life.

You prefer to have your session in the comfort of your own home. You have the option of having your yoga or coaching session conveniently in your own home or in our own creative space. Whether it is a time issue, we live too far apart, you prefer your own space or you enjoy the convenience of being in your home feel free to select times from our booking system that suit your schedule. We could do the session with me travelling to your home or virtually by video call using Skype or Facetime.
